Welcome to Busy Girls Can Travel! Currently, I am in one of the most difficult and time-consuming parts of my career – residency. Despite all the sacrifices I have to make, exploring new places is one thing I am not willing to give up. Travel has helped me stay sane during one of the most stressful periods of my life. I created this blog to show you that no matter how busy your life may be, there is always room to explore new places. I hope that my itineraries can help you plan a little adventure into your daily life, no matter how hectic your schedule may be. After all, who says busy girls can’t travel?
How I fell in love with traveling
When I was five years old, my family moved from Cuba to the United States. As with many immigrant families, my parents had to start a new life from scratch. Despite financial challenges, my parents always managed to find a way to travel to a new place each year. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit over 10 different countries before I turned 18. I will always be grateful to my family for instilling in me a passion for exploring the incredible world we live in.
